    JAMES L. BOWMER
    LIBERTY- The funeral of James Lewis Bowmer, 88, of South Fork Ridge, will be Wednesday at 1p.m. at Bartle Funeral Home with Bro. Thomas Murphy officiating. Burial will be in South Fork Cemetery.

    Mr. Bowmer, a retired farmer, died Monday at 8 a.m. at his home following an illness of six weeks. He was born March 24, 1886, in Casey County.

    Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Rosie Emerson Bowmer; two sons, Morris W. Bowmer of Liberty and Earl Bowmer of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; two daughters, Mrs. Manilla Witt and Mrs. Maxine Bell, both of Liberty; one brother, Virgil Bowmer of Junction City; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
