CHUMBLEY, George B. Chumbley, 83, Cains Store, died suddenly Monday at his residence. He was born in Pulaski County on December 4, 1887, the son of Mr. And Mrs. Louis Chumbley both deceased. He married Clara Maupin Chumbley in 1905 and she survives. Other survivors include 10 children, Carthel, Cains Store, Mrs. Herbert Bradley, Loveland, Ohio, Lorell, Norwood, Ohio, Mrs. Robert Haste, Trafalgar, Ind., Winford, Somerset, Vetrees, Cains Store, Mrs. Delrue Stevens, Eubank, Mrs. Venson Baugh, Trafalgar, Ind., M-Sgt. Jesse Chumbley, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; one brother, Marion, Hammond, Ind., and 35 grandchildren. He lived here all his life and was a retired farmer and a member of Bradley’s Pleasure Church. Funeral services were held Wednesday in the chapel of the Bradley’s Pleasure Church with Elder Ewell Hargis and Elder Nelson Bradley officiating. Burial was in the Bradley Pleasure Cemetery.
