Death Certificate:
Lillian Wehling, born September 17, 1904. VA. Died April 21 , 1956, Cincinnati. Father, Nelson Procter Gambrel, mothe r Nancy unknown. Buried at Spring Grove Cemetery, Cincinnat i.

Nancy Ellen Smith is correct, but Nelson Proctor Gambrel i s wrong. Nelson's middle initial was T. Most likely Thomas . Who ever gave the name on the death certificate was mista ken. Also the death certificate said that Lillian Gambrel w as born in Virginia. There is nothing to support that. bot h parents were from Knox County, Ky., and census records fo r 1910-20, gave birth place as Kentucky for my grandmother.
