Nancy Ellen Smith is correct, but Nelson Proctor Gambrel i s wrong. Nelson's middle initial was T. Most likely Thomas . Who ever gave the name on the death certificate was mista ken. Also the death certificate said that Lillian Gambrel w as born in Virginia.
