Jerry, Thank you so much. I found this family line in the library yesterday. Edward Herndon & Mary Waller, , John/Sarah Pomfret, Pomfret & Martha Bryant; Pomfret and Mary King. Cotesworth Pinckney & Mahala Hall Turner and John Goodwin . My ancestor was George and I found his lineage also. I saw them in several books and they all agreed.. George Herndon was the s/o John & Sarah Pomfret. That explains why his son James named a son Pomfret. I have the line connected from my dad's line to the end of the Herndon-Digges line. I have about five or six wills .of the Herndons. I have the direct connections and I have found many of the children. Thanks again. Ann
