She had a relationship with Judah ben Jacob.
Child(ren):
Also listed as father Epher ben Midian.
Married Judah ben Jacob and the her two stepsons, Er ben Judah (Pict) and Onan ben Judah.?
Genesis 38:1-30.
More likely there is a different Tamar, who married Er ben Judah and Onan ben Judah.
Also have found Tamar listed as married to Rochaid I, King of Ireland. Possibly Eochaidh the Pict and Rochaid are the same person, although Eochaidh died in Spain.
Have seen listed as her father: Epher (Atlas) in addition to Zedekiah ben Josiah. The difference in names might be caused by teh use of varius languages for the names, from the language in the bible, to Latin, Greak and Gaelic.
From "Chesebro' Genealogy" on Rootsweb WorldConnect:
1. Judah wanted to have Tamar cremated because he thought she was a harlot, having unkowingly fathered the twins Zerah and Perez. Tamar convinced Judah that he was the father so Judah said she was in the right against him because he failed to marry her to his son Shelah which he had previously promised. Judah did not again cohabit with Tamar afterwards.
