Charlotte Mae Watson
Charlotte Mae Watson, of Savannah, 87, died December 25, 2003 at Medic
al Center East in Birmingham, Alabama. Shewas born on February 5, 191
6 in Clearwater, Florida. Mrs. Watson retired fromthe accounting prof
ession in 1978 having worked for Ingles Ship Building andBelk's. She
was a member of the White Bluff Presbyterian Church where she was acti
ve in the "Women in the Church" for many years. Mrs. Watson was an act
ive leader in the Girl Scouts of America and Boy Scouts of America fo
r overforty years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles
C. Watson, Sr.Surviving: two sons, Harry R. Piersol of Birmingham, Al
abama and Charles C.Watson, Jr. of Savannah; a daughter, Patricia A.
Watson of Atlanta, GA; two sisters, Winfred Galloway of Moultrie, Geor
gia and Gloria Ralph of Pageland, South Carolina; four grandchildren;
seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation
: 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday at Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home, Hodgso n Me
morial Chapel. Funeral Services: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at White Bluff Pre
sbyterian Church with Rev. Preston Shealy officiating. Intermentwill
be in Hillcrest Abbey West. Memorial contributions may be made to Whit
