Robert Hunter signed his will 3 June, 1753, which was proved August Ct 1753 in Bertie County.
He married at least twice.
His second wife was Elizabeth Bryan born 15 Sept 1694, daughter of Lewis Bryan & Elizabeth Hunter(Ray) who were married in 1688 and they lived in Bertie Co.
She was the widow of Col Thomas Whitmel (died 1735 and came from Surry Co, VA to Bertie in 1713.)
Robert Hunter was a vestryman of St. Paul’s Parish 1738-40.
He later moved to Bertie.
