    Otha H. Combest
    Otha Harrison "Rooster" Combest, 66, of Stafford County, died Thursday, March 25, 2010, at Mary Washington Hospital.
    Mr. Combest was a U.S. Navy veteran and a 1993 graduate of Mary Washington College. He had retired as an engineer from Raytheon.
    Survivors include his wife, Dayna Combest; his sons, J.D. Combest and wife Marti of Garland, Texas; Wayne Berkley and wife Melissa of Tobyhana, Pa., and Kevin Berkley and wife Ana of Stafford; and one daughter, Susan Tanner and husband Jimmy of Wylie, Texas.
    Also surviving are two brothers, Junior Combest and wife Sharon and Bill Combest and life partner Charlene; four sisters, Francis Parker, Elizabeth Parker, Betty Chambers and Faye Culwell; and 11 grandchildren, Jake and Dillon Combest, Sydney and Madison Tanner, Alexandra, Fatima, Sofia and Kadijah Berkley and Taylor, Jade and Boulvye Berkley.
    A service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 29. at Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Home in Sachse, Texas. Burial will be in Stoney Point Cemetery in Anna, Texas. The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 28, at the funeral home.
    A memorial service will be held locally at a later date.
    In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Johns Hopkins Prostate Cancer Center, One Charles Center, 100 N. Charles St., Suite 400, Baltimore, Md. 21201.
