Noah Kittrell mentioned as heir of Polly Kittrell Nobles (his sister) Pitt Deed
Book CC Page 115 December 21, 1822. An advertisement in local paper mentioned Noah Kittrell as being notified of this since it appeared he had left the county about 1812.

Joshua Nobles, I believe was a son of Nathaniel Nobles and Sarah Harris. He had a brother Nathaniel Nobles who died Nov. 6, 1868 Age 72. Joshua Nobles first married Mary "Polly" Kittrell, daughter of John Kittrell. Joshua is shown receiving Polly's share of her father's estate in 1818. Joshua & Penelope Knox Nobles in Pitt Deed Book S Page 252 are shown selling land. This indicates Polly was dead at this time. Question: Did Joshua and Polly have children, if so what are the name or names? Joshua and Penelope Knox Nobles had children: Thomas Nobles, Richard Wright Nobles and Rebecca Nobles. Rebecca Nobles married Jonathan Kittrell who was Polly's brother or half-brother. She was older than he and John Kittrell might have had two wives. Pitt Deed Book GG Page 510 (May Court 1836) states Joshua Nobles to son Johnson Nobles, land on west side of Swift Creek purchsed from Benjamin Nobles.Is Benjamin a brother of Joshua? Any help on this appreciated. Bill
