    James Marion Kittrell obit
    James Marion Kittrell, aged about 80 years, died at his home in Nashville on Saturday, after five years of ill health from a complication of troubles. Survived by wife, Minnie Kittrell; five sons, Crafton Kittrell of Difficult; Charlie Kittrell of Carthage; James Kittrell of Gallatin; and Goebel Kittrell and Tom Allen Kittrell both of Nashville; three daughters, Mrs. Less Goad of Wellston, Oklahoma; Mrs. Mae Sircy of Henderson, Kentucky; and Mrs. Buena Gatlin of Nasville; two step-sons W.G. and D.A. Martin, both of Nashville; two step-daughters, Mrs. Lillie Kemp of Nasville; and Mrs. Ossie Woodard of Goodlettsville; and 24 grandchildren. The remains were brought to Defeated Creek Baptist Church Sunday afternoon where funeral services were conducted by Elder Calvin Gregory. A brief funeral service was held in Nashville by Rev. H.H. Wise Burial was in the Cornwell Cemetery at Difficult.
