Par. 2. Joseph White, 4 (s/o Hugh, 3; William, 2; John, 1) was born in Chester County. He was married to Nancy Westbrook on September 23, 1852, and located near Pleasant Grove Church on farm recently owned by P. W. McGarity. He was a soldier in the Civil War.

He and his wife moved to Pine Bluff, Arkansas, where they lived, died and were buried. His wife was born August 31, 1832 and died July 6, 1876. Their children:(1) Sara Elizabeth White, 5. Born November 14, 1853.(2) Mollie Jane White, 5. Born July 2, 1856.(3) William White, 5. Born September 18, 1858.(4) John W. White, 5. Born November 18, 1860.(5) Joseph Morgan White, 5. Died young.(6)
Katherine (Kitty) White, 5. Died young.(7) Margaret Penina White, 5. Born February 14, 1869.(8) Laura White, 5. Died young.
