Note 1. First wife Blottie Parker and infant daughter died Apr 1928 in childbirth. They are buried in the Parker family plot to the left of the entry to Shanghai Cemetary in Walker County, Alabama. Blottie was the daughter of Ansley R Parker and Theonia E. Glover. She had one, older sister Naomi Pearl Parker Gimbruch. Per 1910 census recorded 7 May 1910, Ansley was age 31, Theonia was 26, Naomi 6, Blottie 4. The parents had been married 12 years.
Note 2. Allen died ofa heart attack while on a family fishing trip to Guntersville Lake. He tucked me in bed for the night and went to comfort my older sister who had been stung by a wasp. When I woke the next morning my Daddy was gone.
