I recall that my mother, Janie Lee Morrah Jones, told me that people called her grandmother, Mildred Elizabeth Wideman Wardlaw, by the nickname, Betty.

Here is what I have for the children of David Jordan Wardlaw and Mildred Elizabeth Wardlaw:

(1) Malvina Wardlaw (Jan. 16, 1859 - June 29, 1927), married John Leslie Kennedy.
(2) Lizzie Wardlaw, married Charlie Lyon.
(3) Janie Wardlaw (March 16, 1861 - July 25, 1930), married Samuel Patrick Morrah on Dec. 22, 1880. This was my grandmother.
(4) John Uel Wardlaw (Dec. 13, 1864 - Aug. 17, 1922), married 1st, Ida Caroline Morrah (June 2, 1867 - Aug. 8, 1887), and 2nd, Lilly Morrah (Jan. 17, 1872 - Dec. 26, 1928). They were sisters.
(5) Leila Wardlaw (March 1, 1866 - Oct. 19, 1926), married John Calvin Kennedy.
(6) David Jordan Wardlaw (Jun 5, 1869 - April 29, 1893.
(7) William Wideman Wardlaw (Aug. 25, 1875 - Aug. 25, 1939. married Annie Bradley.
(8) Emma Pearl Wardlaw (July 29, 1877 - Nov. 21, 1945) She never married. I remember Aunt Emma.
(9) Addie Wardlaw (1878 - 1936), married William Harvey Robinson.
(10) Kitty Wardlaw (Oct. 17, 1879 - Sept. 10, 1907), married J. T. Bradley.
(11) Lilly Wardlaw (1881 - 1930), married William David Wardlaw.
