John was deeded 50 acres of land knows as Beatles Neck, by Abraham Smith,found in Westmoreland Co., VA deed book 7 page 336 - September 27, 1721.He died Jan 27, 1740 without a will - Westmorland Col, VA Order Book1739-42, page 84. :Fothergill's Wills of Westmoreland Co., VA we fingSamuel Chose Demsey Carrell as his guardian. "Westmoreland Co., VAFiduciary Book 1" we find an account made to Benjamin and Elizabeth.Samuel, the oldest, got 409 acres of land at Popeshed in Prince WilliamCo., VA. This is found in Westmoreland Co., VA order book 1739--43, page147.
