Eunice Higgs 1933 12-27-2004
Mrs. Higgs was born November 8, 1915, south of Eagle Rock, the daughter of George Allen and Lilly May Garner Wilson. She was a 1933 graduate of Washburn High School. She worked as a caretaker in several homes and as a clerk at Farmers Exchange in Washburn. She was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church.
She married Champ Clark Higgs on November 30, 1946, and he preceded her in death October 17, 1985.
Survivors include two sons, Billy Higgs and Stephen Higgs.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Enoch and Ertie Wilson; and three sisters, Janie Ennis, Alice Ledenham, and Joycie Lacey.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. tomorrow, December 29, at Solid Rock Baptist Church in Exeter with Brother Steve Higgs officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter under the direction of Williamson Funeral Home of Cassville.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, December 28, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the church.
