    Lindbergh Kittrell, 86 of 800 Farr Road; Cope, SC died Sunday, May 22, 2014 at his residence. Visitation will be held 2:30 to 4:00 PM Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Canaan Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in Canaan Community, Cope.

    A Graveside Service will be held 4:00 PM Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery in Cope with Pastor Ike Kittrell directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.

    Pallbearers will be Mike Kittrell, Milton Kittrell, Jr., Len Chitty, Brian Prater, Justin Kittrell, Joey Kittrell, Jervey Kittrell, Jr. and Jay Kittrell.

    Mr. Kittrell was born June 13, 1927 in Orangeburg, SC; a son of the late Isaac J. Kittrell Kittrell and the late Florrie Myers Kittrell. He was retired from Ambler Industries. He was an avid outdoorsman and hunter. He was preceded in death by his wife; Mildred O'Cain Kittrell; 1 sister; Lessie Hilda Kittrell and 2 brothers; Jervey Kittrell and Milton Kittrell.

    Survivors include a sister-in-law; Bernice Kittrell of Cordova; 1 brother; Solomon Kittrell of Cope; 1 sister; Mildred Kittrell Carrigg of Cope; 2 step-daughters; Betsy O'Cain Cantley and Mary O'Cain Harper and a number of nieces and nephews. Also his special pets; Mustard, Chocolate and JoJo.

    Friends may call at the residence of Robert and Janice Chitty; 837 Farr Road; Cope, SC 29038.

    Visitation will be held 2:30 to 4:00 PM Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Canaan Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in Canaan Community.
