Laurel Leader Call 20051011 Thomas D. Kittrell, 61, of State Line, died Saturday, Oct. 8, 2005, at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, with burial in the Tom Kittrell Family cemetery. The Revs. Ken Gibson, Frank Thornton and Floyd Mills officiated. He was a member of First Baptist Church of State Line. He was the owner and operator of Tom Kittrell Logging Inc. for many years and served as a former high school teacher and basketball coach. He was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Ryan Kittrell, and a daughter, Miranda Gail Kittrell. He is survived by his wife, Linda Kittrell of State Line; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Ron and Krystal Kittrell and Jonathan Kittrell, all of State Line; a daughter, Leigh Anne Kittrell Varnell of State Line; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Maurice Kittrell and Plummer and Judy Kittrell, all of State Line; and three grandchildren, Annah Leigh Varnell, Kerrington Grace Kittrell and Holdin Klein Kittrell, all of State Line. Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro was in charge of arrangements.

    He is survived by his wife, Linda Kittrell of State Line; two sons, Ron Kittrell and Jonathan Kittrell, both of State Line; one daughter, Leigh Anne Kittrell Varnell of State Line; two brothers, Maurice Kittrell and Plummer Kittrell, both of State Line; and three grandchildren.
    Funeral services were held Oct. 10 at Freeman Funeral Home Chapel with the Ken Gibson, the Rev. Frank Thornton and the Rev. Floyd Mills officiating.
    Interment followed in the Tom Kittrell Family Cemetery.
    Freeman Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
