Wilson A. Soles

WHITEVILLE -- Wilson A. Soles, 65, of Whiteville died Saturday in hishome.

Mr. Soles was a member of White Marsh Baptist Church.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in White Marsh BaptistChurch by the Rev. Leon Lancaster.

Mr. Soles is survived by two daughters, Margaret A. Soles and Helen S.Rhodes, both of Whiteville; a brother, O. C. Soles of Stanley; and foursisters, Alice Gibson of Virginia Beach, Va., Myrtie Price of Milwaukee,Margaret Buchanan of Gastonia and Nancy Duncan of Belmont.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at McKenzie Mortuaryin Whiteville.

Memorials may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, P.O. Box 636,Whiteville, NC 28472.

WILSON A. SOLES

WHITEVILLE -- Wilson Arren Soles, 65, of the White Marsh Community, diedSaturday, Jan. 13, 2001 at his home.

He was the son of the late Arren Coy Soles and Hazel Burchfield and waspreceded in death by his wife Mrs. Kaywood Sellers Soles. Mr. Soles was amember of White Marsh Baptist Church.

Final rites were conducted Monday, Jan. 15 at the White Marsh BaptistChurch by the Rev. Leon Lancaster. Interment was in the WhitevilleMemorial Cemetery. McKenzie Mortuary handled the arrangements.

He is survived by two daughters: Margaret Ann Soles of the home; andHelen S. Rhodes and husband John of Whiteville; one brother: O. C. Solesof Stanley; four sisters: Alice Gibson of Virginia Beach, Va., MyrtiePrice of Milwaukee, Wis., Margaret Buchanan of Gastonia, and Nancy Duncanof Belmont; several brothers-in-law, sisters-in law, and nieces andnephews.

Active pallbearers were: Billy Duncan, Butch Sellers, Buddy Pierce, CecilEason, and Billy Rushing.
