CONWAY - John Daniel "J.D." Causey Jr., 69, of the Shell community, diedFriday, Aug. 30, 2002, at Regency Hospital in Dargan.

Visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conwaychapel.

Arrangements will be announced by the funeral home.

John D. 'J. D.' Causey Jr.

CONWAY - John Daniel "J.D." Causey Jr., 69, died Friday, Aug. 30, 2002,at Regency Hospital in Florence after an illness.

He was born in Conway, a son of the late John Daniel "Jack" Causey Sr.and Minnie Lewis Causey.

He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, a longtime employee withJerry Cox and retired from Grand Strand Water and Sewer Authority. He wasan Army veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife, Lois Ann Stevens Causey; a son, Danny JasonCausey and his wife, Karen Goude Causey, of Conway; a grandson, AshleyJason Causey of Conway; four sisters, Bernice Hardee of Charleston,Vonice James of Conway, Norma Jean Skinner of Augusta, Ga., and JoyceHolmes of Columbia; and a brother, Larry Causey of Loris.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at Bethlehem Baptist Church. The Rev.Mike Kinlaw and the Rev. David Watts will officiate. Entombment will bein Hillcrest Mausoleum.
