B. R. BESSANT

LORIS - The funeral for B. R. Bessant will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in TillySwamp Baptist Church. Burial, directed by Goldfinch's Conway Chapel, willbe in the church cemetery.

Mr. Bessant, 90, a retired farmer and carpenter, died Saturday in aCharleston hospital. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons, William J. Bessant of Conway and Carl C. Bessantof Murrells Inlet; a daughter, Ree West of Panama City, Fla.; 10grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
