Gesproken met Elisabeth op 20-8-1999, Zeer enthausiast. Evaristo is met vakantie tot begin september. Zij heeft contact gehad met Mark en Lisa uit de USA. Ik heb verteld wat ik weet van de USA en de rest van de Westplate's. Zij wil er beslist meer van weten. Joop had mijn E-mail adres al doorgegeven.
Zij vertelde ook dat Joop nog een broertje heeft gehad dat waarschijnlijk in de oorlog is gestorven. De problemen in de familie heben oa te maken met het feit dat de ouders van Joop in de oorlog toen zij in Harlingen woonden een Duitser in huis hebben gehaald om op die manier eten te krijgen voor de kleine zieke jongen.
