Notes about Hendrikus "Henkie" Lops

Werkte eerst bij een Metaal bedrijf bij de Oostzeedijk. Later bij een Lampenbedrijf in de Zaagmolenstraat 127.
In de oorlog, net als zijn vader 3 jaar gewerkt in Hamburg Duitsland.
Na het bombardement tijdelijke inwoning in de achterwoning van zijn werkgever, een loodgietersbedrijf, in de Zaagmolenstraat.
Later zijn zij verhuisd naar de Houtmanstraat 108 in Hoek van Holland.
Na de oorlog gewerkt bij een Lampenbedrijf in de Zaagmolenstraat 126, hier kregen ze 2 tussenkamers en een achterkamer. De voorkamer was de showroom van het Lampen bedrijf. Hier hebben zij 5 jaar gewoond (1947-1952).
Hierna een driekamer woning in de van Harmelenstraat 37 in Overschie, hier 20 jaar gewoond tot 1972.
Daarna zijn zij verhuisd naar de Houtmanstraat 108 in Hoek van Holland en wonen ze in 2010 er al 38 jaar.
Na zijn terugkeer uit Duitsland is Henk gaan werken bij Wilton Feijenoord in Schiedam. Met zijn ervaring uit Duitsland kon hij als techneut aan de slag. Is in 1980 met de VUT gegaan.
