Uit nader onderzoek blijkt dat tijdens de eerste Wereld Oorlog 1914-1918 een broer van Cornelia, genaamd Pieter Kuzee, die kleermaker was en in Brussel woonde tijdens die oorlog bij haar in Yerseke woonde.

Deze familie LePoeter zijn Hugenoten en gevlucht uit Frankrijk.
Uiteindelijk via Belgie / in Yerseke terecht gekomen.
