Notes about Jacobus VERNIERS

Werd voogd over de kinderen van zijn broer Petrus (in 1725) alsook over de vier kinderen van zijn oudste dochter en haar man Lieven Maes (+ Oostakker 1742) en over de kinderen van zijn dochter Angeline (in 1745). In 1743 erfde hij van zijn schoonmoeder Tanneke Hebbelynck (die overleed te Desteldonk op 10-4-1743). In 1747 verhuisde hij van Lochristi naar Eeklo waar hij werkte als arbeider. Bij de volkstelling daar in 1948 hadden ze 8 kinderen.
