Notes about Thomas Velders

Deze man heeft op de Hoveniersweg gewoond. H179 en H 314. Is regelmatig in de olie geweest. Eén keer zo erg dat hij of 50 cent boete moest betalen of een dag in hechtenis.
Op 17 maart 1903 is zijn jongste zoon Johannes geboren. Waarschijnlijk is zijn vrouw Johanna hieraan bezweken op 21 april 1903. Thomas moest ineens voor zijn vier kinderen zorgen in de leeftijd van 11, 9, 8 en 5. Op 30 november 1903 zijn deze vier kinderne opgenomen in Weesinrichting 97 in Nijmegen. Volgens de bevolkingsadministratie van Tiel (1900 - 1917) was hij van beroep huisschilder.
Op 18 januari 1905 zijn ze alle vier weer vertrokken naar Tiel. Thomas was in december 1904 getrouwd met Maarke Weergang. Het gezin woont eerst Zandwijk G340 en verhuisd later naar Weerstraat B45. Nog later zijn ze in de Kerkstraat F224 gaan wonen.
