Notes about Arien "Aarjen" Janse Grooff

In de periode 1703 tot 1735 komen we hem diverse malen tegen in gedingen voor schepenen waarbij hij soms eiser, dan weer gedaagde is. In december 1726 eist hij bijv betaling wegens geleverd brood doch op 17 mei 1731 wordt hij aangesproken voor betaling van schotloon. Op 24-4-1733 eist hij van Aarjen Jansz Peeper namens zijn zoon betaling daar hij met zijn zoon naar Amsterdam is gevaren.
