8.8.1680 Sijmon op belijdenis aangenomen in de Nederduits Gereformeerde Kerk van Reeuwijk. Hij trok op 27 april 1683 naar Sluipwijk.

In 1680 (GA Gouda kohier gemaal 1680 inv.nr.2324) wordt hij genoemd met vrouw en twee kinderen jonger dan 10 jaar, kinderen jonger dan 4 jaar worden niet genoemd. Sijmon en echtgenotes woonde 1684-1710 aan de Ree.

nov. 1696 (RA Reeuwijk nr.6 blz.194) Sijmon Jansse Hoogersdijk laat akte van uitkoop opmaken als weduwnaar van Cornelia Abrahams.Hij heeft bij haar 2 weeskinderen Abraham, oud omtrent 21 jaren en Annetje omtrent 19 jaren.Jan Cornelisz Hoogerdijk is voogd over deze kinderen. Sijmon Jansz kan vrijelijk over de nagelaten boedel van Cornelia beschikken. De opvoeding van de kinderen komt voor zijn rekening tot de leeftijd van 25 jaar of eerder huwelijk van een van hen.Daarna zal een somma van f 13.-worden uitgekeerd. Sijmon beloofd voorts hen een handwek te laten leren zodat ze door de wereld heen geraken.

Symon Jansz.Ho(o)gerdijk was kerkmeester van Sluipwijk in 1711 en 1712.
