Notes about Johannes Jurianus "Jan" Albertsz van Raam

Hij vertrekt op 06-11-1726 uit Rotterdam voor de VOC als matroos met het schip "Blijdorp" naar Batavia en in 1731 wordt gerepatriëerd met de "Ketel". Op 29-03-1743 vertrekt hij opnieuw naar Batavia, nu als Derdewaak (3e stuurman) op de "Hartenlust", waarmee hij in 1744 wordt gerepatriëerd. Op 07-01-1749 vaart hij opnieuw uit naar Batavia, nu als Opperstuurman met de "Overschie" en wordt hij gerepatriëerd in 1751 met de "Ouwerkerk".
