Notes about Gerrit van HEEREN

Voor de 2e Wereldoorlog werkte Gerrit van Heeren samen met zijn zwager Aai van Vuren in de bouw, onder andere aan de Militaire Academie in Breda. Tijdens de 2e Wereldoorlog ging Gerrit bij een boer op Dubbeldam werken.
Na de oorlog ging Gerrit bij de Mabuwat in Zwijndrecht werken, Mabuwat had toen nog een klein kantoortje in het Kromhout. De Mabuwat groeide en Gerrit groeide mee, hij werd uitvoerder en bouwde door het hele land, bijvoorbeeld bij Rijwielfabriek De Gazelle in Driebergen. De laatste jaren werkte hij veel in Delft bij Campina en De Oude Delft.


12 oktober 1942 Bekeurde de Insp. Joh. Fontijne terzake rijden een rijwiel zonder achterlicht: (I) Gerrit van Heeren, geb. 16-4-1912, won. Nessestraat 19; (II) Maria de Bruin, geb. 16-6-1924, won. Nessestraat 19.
