De drie zonen van Arnoldus komen in 1946 alle drie terug uit verschillende oorlogsgebiNL. n en treffen daar de nieuwe situatie aan. Om onbekende rNL. nen zijn alle drie zonen een maand later in 1946 uit het ouderlijk huis vertrokken naar eerst onbekende bestemming. Arnoldus heeft, begin jaren "60, nog contact gezocht met Johannes. Johannes heeft hem nadrukkelijk te kennen gegeven hier geen prijs meer op te stellen. Jacobus is helaas vermist, zowel Arnoldus als Johannes hebben via het rode kruis geprobeerd hem te vinden. Op dit moment 2009 is het TV programma "Vermist" daadwerkelijk op zoek naar informatie over hem.
 
In 2007 heeft Robert, zoon van Johannes, via het bureau genealogie in den Haag, de drie dochters van Arnoldus gevonden. Het contact tussen beide familietakken is bijzonder goed en hartelijk, jammer dat het zolang heeft moeten duren.
