      Om 23.35 brengen de aps?? ten Haaft en Hulst, terzake "verdacht van overtreding distributiewetten", vanaf den Meeuwenlaan, twee personen, respectievelijk genaamd; Frans Blind, geboren Amsterdam 30-3-1918, draadvlechter, woont Groote Kattenburgerstraat 104 1h alhier en Balthazar van Gemen, geb. Amsterdam 29-6-1914, loodgieter, woont Kleine Katteburgerstraat 141 1h alhier.
      Beiden vervoerden op hun rijwiel een gonje zak inhoudende ongeveer 40 kg tarwe, komende vanuit de richting Leeuwarderweg, in de richting van de pont aan den Valkenweg, alhier. Zij verklaarden dat zij de zakken tarwe in de Beemster van een onbekende boer te hebben gekocht.
      Zij blijven voor onderzoek, op last Chef, in bewaring. Fouillering: Blind F.13,88 en een half en 10 vacantiezegels, van Gemen F.30,16.
      Om 1. 00 uur worden Blind en van Gemen door aps Frielink en Stroop door middel van een politie-auto naar het hoofdbureau gebracht
      14.50 uur. De arrestanten Blind en van Gemen, genoemd om 23.35 uur in het rapport van gisteren, op last van Chef heengezonden
