    En 1682, Dieudonné est désigné par l'abbaye d'Aywières comme Maïeur des seigneureries de Maransart et de Couture-Saint Germain. Il vient s'établir dans la région et occupe pour un certain temps la maison dite Balzau à Beaumont. Cettepropriété avait été acquise en 1643, par le père de Dieudonné; elle dépendait de la paroisse de LASNE mais était très proche de COUTURE.

    IL reçoit de la succession de son oncle Conrard, vers 1674, une maison sise à Wavre, dans la rue de la chapelle Ste Elizabeth.

    En 1722, le grand âge de Dieudonné l'oblige à désigner avec l'accord de l'abesse d'Aywières un lieutenant Maïeur en la personne d'André THOMAS. Il se réservait néanmoins la moitié des revenus de sa charge.
