    In het jaar achttien honderd zeven en zeventig den negen en twintigsten der maand october verscheen voor mij Ambtenaar van den Burgerlijken Stand der Gemeente Dubbeldam: Bastiaan Dubbeldam, oud vijf en veertig jaren, arbeider wonende te Dubbeldam, welke mij verklaard heeft, dat op den zeven en twintigsten dezer maand des namiddags te twee ure, te Dubbeldam in het huis getekend wijk G nummer honderd een en dertig is bevallen van een kind van het mannelijk geslacht, Lena van de Graaf, zonder beroep wonende te Dubbeldam, echtgenoote van den aangever, aan welk kind wordt gegeven de voornaam van Teunis.
    Deze verklaring is geschied in tegenwoordigheid van Sijmen Letter, oud zes en veertig jaren, veldwachter wonende te Dubbeldam en van Gerardus Gijsbertus Brandt oud zes en twintig jaren, boekhouder wonende te Dordrecht als getuigen. Waarvan dadelijk deze Akte is opgemaakt, aan den aangever en de getuigen voorgelezen en door mij met hen ondertekend.

    Antonio Dubbeldan do sexo masculino, de cor branca, com cinqueta e cinco anos de idade , lavrador, natural da Holanda, e residente neste distrito, filho de Sebastião Dubbeldan e de Helena Dubbeldan, casado com Eufrosina Dubbeldam, deixando os seguintes filhos: Helena com quinze anos de idade, Mariana de doze anos, Cornelia de dez anos, Henrique Sebastião com seis anos, Anna com dois anos e Reynilda com quatro meses de idade. Deixou bens de raiz, a morte foi violenta proveniente de asfixia por enforcamemto. Atesto o médico Doutor Octavio Novaes Junior. O cadaver vai ser sepultado no cemitério público desta cidade. Do que fiz este termo que lhe li e assina. Eu. Francisco de Assis Andrade, Oficial, o subscrevi. (aa) Francisco de Assis Andrade e Miguel Goltz. Era o que continha em dito assento o qual foi bem e fielmente extraido do proprio original, ao qual me reporto e dou fe. Custas R$ 29,22 (VRC 175,00) + FUNARPEN r$ 1,59 + BUSCAS r$ 10,19.

Ik verklaar dat ik, door de overlijdensregisters van dit bureau te bekijken, op verzoek van de geïnteresseerde persoon een verklaring heb gevonden met de volgende inhoud: onder nummer 356 - Op de negentiende april, duizend negenhonderd drieëndertig, in deze stad Castro , Miguel Goltz, getrouwd, industrieel, verscheen op mijn kantoor, en er werd mij verklaard: Dat vandaag (19 april, duizend negenhonderd drieëndertig) tien uur en dertig minuten, in dit District, in Caxambu, in de bush nabij thuis, overleden:
Antonio Dubbeldan man, blank, vijf en vijftig jaar oud, boer, geboren in Holland, en woonachtig in dit district, zoon van Sebastiaan Dubbeldan en Helena Dubbeldan, getrouwd met Eufrosina Dubbeldam, de volgende kinderen achterlatend: Helena met vijftien jaar oud, Mariana twaalf jaar oud, Cornelia tien jaar oud, Henrique Sebastião zes jaar oud, Anna twee jaar oud en Reynilda vier maanden oud. Hij liet onroerend goed na, de dood was gewelddadig als gevolg van verstikking door ophanging.
Ik certificeer de dokter Doctor Octavio Novaes Junior. Het lijk wordt begraven op de openbare begraafplaats van deze stad. Daar heb ik een verklaring over afgelegd, die ik las en ondertekende. I. Francisco de Assis Andrade, officier, onderschreef het. (aa) Francisco de Assis Andrade en Miguel Goltz.
