LifeSketch: Baptism is in french "il ya eut vu enfant baptize du beau fils de Willem Escalk van den Merven" - translated: "There was seen a beautiful son (step son?) of Willem baptized" The french Il ya (there was) has been turned into the name Ilya and thereafter Eula. The word fils (son) is clearly written as such and not as la fille (daughter) yet all trees seem to have turned this unnamed son, who presumably died shortly after birth, into a girl named Eula?
