    Jan Jans Mosterman (Jan Fabriek, boterfabrikant (1868-1955) en zijn vrouw Catharina de Jong (1870-1951.) Achter Jeanette (1902-1978), Jacobus (1911-1991) en Cyprianus (1904-1974).

    In 1896 werd Jan Mosterman deels eigenaar van het pand waar de eerste boterfabriek op Ameland is opgericht. Thans de Doe het Zelfzaak Kiewiet. Waarschijnlijk was zijn zwager Foppe de Jong deels financieel betrokken. Eerst draaide de fabriek op handkracht tot er in 1902 een stoommachine kwam. De melk kwam van boeren uit Nes en Buren. In 1911 kocht Foppe de Jong de fabriek. In 1912 verhuisde Jan Mosterman naar Woudsend waar hij ook in de zuivel werkzaam bleef. Op Ameland hield hij de bijnaam Jan Fabriek."
