De oudste zoon van Arent was Willem (overleden in 1487). Deze rijke bierbrouwer liet een van de oudste hofjes van Leiden na: het St Stevenhof of Convent van Tetrode. Hij schonk hiervoor onder meer het bezit in de Stevenhofspolder, ten westen van de binnenstad van Leiden.

Zijn tweede zoon, Danel, was net als Willem een rijke brouwer in Leiden. Hij was kerkmeester van de St Pancraeskerk en had elf kinderen, hoewel op het plaatje, rechts, sprake is van acht.

Jan, het derde kind, was actief in de lakenhandel. Hij was ook brouwer, schepen (1475 en 1476), veertigraad in Leiden in 1477 en gasthuismeester van de Onze Lieve Vrouwekerk in 1507. In de zogeheten Jonker Frans oorlog vocht hij als kapitein aan de zijde van Frans (van Brederode). Hij was dus een hoek. Uit zijn testament blijkt dat hij een harnas had.

Zijn jongere broer was Willem (van Wassenaar) van Tetrode. Hij leefde van het bezit in Wassenaar en zijn zoon is de eerste vicaris op de vicarie van de heilige Steven in de Onze Lieve Vrouwekerk.
