    In 1778 was een Aaltje Wouters getuigde bij de doop van een kind van Jan van Es, die in 1775 als Jansz vermeld is, ook in 1776 was ze getuigde.

    Aaltje zou de moeder geweest kunnen zijn van zowel Gerrit als Jan, alleen hun patroniemen komen niet overeen. Gerrit had wel een broer Jan, maar die was te jong. Waarschijnlijk zijn het verschillende Aaltjes.
