Geschiedenis van de Molen:

De eerste molenaar op deze molen was Pieter van der Meule, geboren in 1792. In 1851 werd zijn zoon Adriaan van der Meule eigenaar maar deze overleed een jaar later zodat de molen weer eigendom van zijn vader werd.

In 1865 werd Gerrit Passenier, kleinzoon van Pieter van der Meule, de nieuwe eigenaar. In 1902 volgt Laurens Passenier zijn vader als molenaarop. De laatste beroepsmolenaar op de Weltevreden was Jacob Coomans, afkomstig uit Scherpenisse. Als hij de molen in 1963 stilzet is hij 75 jaar oud.
