-Voor de geboorte van oma sterft haar broer Johannes Hendrikus Christianus Klomp op 11-12-1911.
Waarschijnlijk levenloos geboren.
-Als oma 1 ½ jaar is sterft haar broertje Albertus Johannes Hendrikus Klomp op 27-03-1914.
-Als oma 3 ½ jaar is sterft haar zusje Elisabeth Johanna Klomp op 05-01-1916.
-Op 16-06-1921 sterft haar moeder. Oma is dan 8 jaar. Een groot verdriet tot aan haar dood!
-Toen haar vader Johannes Klomp weer hertrouwde met Wilhelmina Pelierf in hetzelfde jaar als dat haar moeder kwam te overlijden, had ze een slecht leven. Zo moest zij zich als kind op een hele koude winterdag naakt wassen op de buitenplaats en zich ook buiten aankleden.
-Oma beland in het oude weeshuis. Zie eerste twee foto's.
-Zo jong als oma is gaat ze daarna werken in het Canisius Wilhelmina Ziekenhuis. Ze gaat intern. Zie foto 3.
-Oma gaat werken voor de jood Franken. Opa werkt daar ook. Ze krijgen een relatie en er volgt een huwelijk. Uit dit huwelijk komen 12 kinderen.

Bombardementen
Deze gebeurtenis was heel angstig voor oma. Op dit moment was opa aan het werk en had pauze bij de 'schuppenkeet'.
Op 22 februari 1944 wordt om 13.30 uur de binnenstad door Bomgroep 446, 2e bomdivisie van de 20st Combat Wing van de Achtste Amerikaanse luchtmacht gebombardeerd. Hierbij worden circa 880 mensen gedood (gemeente Nijmegen in Plantema: 145). Zij worden begraven op de Algemene Begraafplaats aan de Graafseweg. Maar er komen in de oorlogsperiode ook mensen om het leven door enkele andere bominslagen in de stad:
"14 februari 1941, Roerstraat, Niersstraat, Rijnstraat in de wijk Waterkwartier (7 mensen, Van Doren, Graat);
"25 maart 1942, Hatertseweg 43 (5 mensen, Van Aarle, Spaan, De Bock);
"22 juli 1942, Dorpsstraat 122 (later Van Schependomlaan) (3 mensen, Jansen, Van Loon) (Eliëns: 78).
