Is voorts de halfbevroren Zaan overgestoken op weg naar werk (ging geen pondje wegens plotse vriesweer; anders moest helemaal omlopen langs de Zaan en over brug), door ijs gezakt, maar toch naar werk gegaan. Kou gevat, verzwakt en longontsteking opgelopen :-(
