Wolter Goeman Fonds: Ter nagedachtenis aan Wolter Goeman (1945-1993) werd het Wolter Goeman Fonds opgericht vanuit de LVMP.
Op vrijdag 21 november 2014 is de Wolter Goeman prijs uitgereikt aan Prof. dr. Martha Grootenhuis van het AMC Amsterdam/EKZ door de LVMP (Landelijke Verenging Medische Psychologie).
Wolter Goeman was een zeer gewaardeerde collega in de medische psychologie die helaas veel te jong overleed. Ter zijn nagedachtenis heeft de LVMP (Landelijke Vereniging van Medisch Psychologen) de Wolter Goeman prijs in het leven geroepen. De prijswordt, eens per 4 a 5 jaar toegekend aan psycholoog die zich verdienstelijk heeft gemaakt op het gebied van de medische psychologie, hetzij in wetenschappelijk opzicht of op het gebied van de medisch psychologie in het algemeen. Leden van de LVMP mogen collega;s voordragen waarna een commissie, die per keer wordt samengesteld en minimaal bestaat uit twee hoogleraren die werkzaam zijn op het gebied van de medisch psychologie, een keuze maakt.
Wolter Goeman was van 1987 tot 1993 PAZ bestuurslid. De gelden in dit fonds zullen worden toegekend aan hen die substantiële bijdragen leveren aan de ziekenhuispsychologie..
