    In het boek "De 's -Gravelandseweg en zijn bewoners" staat de geschiedenis vermeld van het koetshuis van Quatre Bras 's-Gravelandseweg 144 Hilversum o.a. over Jacobus van der Koogh en zijn zonen Willem Karel en Gerardus Jacobus, die daar gewerkt hebben voor Geert van Mesdag.
    Het gebouw begon als paardenstal in 1898 met koetsierswoning ontworpen door de Amsterdamse architect Abraham Salm; geheel uit hout opgetrokken en afgeleid van een Zwitsers chalet. De eerste bewoners waren Jacobus van der Koogh en zijn vrouw Johanna Geertruida Verhoeff met hun 4 kinderen afkomstig uit Weesp. Hun oudste zoon Jacobus1886 was automobielmaker en verhuisde naar Den Haag. Willem Carel1889 ging werken bij Stallinga op nr. 12 A als chauffeur en zoon Gerardus Jacobus 1891 werd net als zijn vader koetsier. De jongste was hun dochter Johanna Gerarda 1897.
    Na het overlijden van Jacobus in 1917 werd zijn zwager Cornelis Seegers x Maria Theresia Verhoeff (zus van zijn echtgenote) koetsier tot 1928. In dat jaar ging Van Mesdag over op een auto en verhuisde Seegers naar de Bilderdijklaan. Als chauffeur trad toen Jan Stokvis in dienst van Van Mesdag.
    In 1942 werd het koetshuis gevorderd door de Duitse Wehrmacht om het als garage te gebruiken.
    Het koetshuis staat op de gemeentelijke monumentenlijst en is van binnen omgebouwd tot Remonstrantse Kerk. die het in 1953 kocht van Van Mesdag
    en in 1957 officieel opende als kerk.
