<p>Amsterdamse Dingsdaegfe Courant<br />Publicatie: Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, Nederland<br />Datum: 5 mrt 1805<br />Tekst: wierd ik op de 24-en der voorleden maand verblyd, door de gelukkige, hoewel ontydige verlossing mijner waarde echtgenoote, Maria Geertruida Wierdels, van twee welgeschapene dochters, thans vind ik mij in diepe rouw gedompeld, daar het de vrijmatigden god behaagd heeft, haar, op heden in de ouderdom van 22 jaaren en 8 maanden, dit tijdelijke met het eeuwige verwisselen van welk voor mij en mijne vier nog zeer jonge kinderen allermartelijkst, verkies ik, bij deeze, aan nabestaanden en vrienden kennis geeve.</p>
