In 1667 wordt hij in het Schepenboek vermeld als welgeboren man, evenzo in het Ordinair Dingboek van de Ballui ende Welgeboren mannen van 1689, is in 1672 Ambachtsbewaarder van Rijnland, in 1686 is hij regent van het Gasthuis te Katwijk aan Zee, in 1681 Weesman; blijkens zijn testament 6-12-1683 verleden te Noordwijk aan Zee was hij eigenaar van de herberg ,,De Blauwe Zwan" staande Katwijk aan Zee en bezat hij teelland en weij-off hoijlandt, alsmede een huis.
