    Hij trouwde Lisabeth Brouwers, weduwe van Willem Troyel. Deze Troyel was in 1717 als soldaat voor de VOC naar Oost Indie vertrokken en daar overleden.
    Een oom van moederszijdee van Lisabeth Brouwers, Isaac de Winter, was kinderloos en bedacht zijn neefje Isaac de Kat, ged. 16 jan 1726, en diens ouders in zijn testament. Hij overleed (aang.) 30 juni 1727.
    Na zijn tweede huwelijk ging Andries Aerts in Klaaswaal wonen en volgde daar zijn vader op als meester timmerman.
    Hij had geregeld werk voor de Kerk en voor de polders.
    In 1733 werd hij Schepen, in 1748 ouderling en in 1751 Diaken.
