Vroedschap 1542-1575, burgemeester 1563, 1568-1569. Hij behoorde tot de negen vroetschappen die Rotterdam aan Oranje brachten. Vredemaker 1543-1574, schepen 1544, 1550, 1565, 1567, boonheer 1548, 1552, 1555, 1559, 1561, 1564, weesmeester 1557-1562, 1564, 1566, 1571, 1572, kerkmeester 1565, 1566.
