Isaäk Stoel uit Dordrecht trad 11 januari 1771 als matroos in dienst van de VOC, die datum vertrok hij met het zeilschip Aschat, waarop hij reeds op 18 januari 1771 overleed.
Volgens het sldijboek hebben zijn kinderen Jannetje, Jan, Maria en Hendrik via de Nederduitse Gereformeerde diakonij te Dordrecht zijn soldij uitbetaald gekregen.
