Notes about Digna van HOOGSTRATEN

Hendrik Theunisz.de Vos was de zoon van Theunis Jacobsz. de Vos, huistimmerman te Dordrecht (vermeld 1659: zie Roscam Abbing, Hoogstraten, p. 55). Hendrik de Vos was stadsfabriek, sedert 1657 knaap op de 16e Hollandse plaats van de Munt van Holland [Voorstraat, Dordrecht] en gezworene 1695-1707. Hij testeerde op 13 mei 1707 voor notaris H. van Dijck, overleed kort daarna en werd begraven Dordrecht (Grote Kerk) op 2 juli 1707. Zijn vrouw Dina van Hoogstraten werd begraven Dordrecht (Grote Kerk ) 17 nov. 1704. Zij was een dochter van Dirck van Hoogstraten en Maria Isacksdr. de Koninck en zuster van de kunstschilder Samuel van Hoogstraten. Hendrik de Vos werd op 21 okt. 1657 door zijn zwager Samuel van Hoogstraten ingeleid als knaap van het Serment van de Munt van Holland. Hij deed afstand van zijn muntplaats in 1676.(Jaarboek van het Centraal Bureau voor Genealogie deel V ('s-Gravenhage 1951), p. 169 en deel X ('s-Gravenhage 1956), p. 58). Van Hoogstraten schilderde hem en de andere muntmeesters in 1674-1677

Doopregister van de Doopsgezinde gemeente te Dordrecht (DTB 78): 12 maart 1648 gedoopt en tot lidmaten aangenomen Samuel Dirickxsz. van Hoochstraten en Dijna Dirickx van Hoochstraten, zijn zuster. Idem: 28 maart 1655 Hendrik Tuenisz. de Vos, jonckman, gedoopt en als lidmaat aangenomen.
