Ds. Johannes van der Crab, ged. Dordrecht 28 Juni 1645, vlootpredikant en krankbezoeker in dienst der Oost-Indische Compagnie op Java; komt in Dec. 1686 en andermaal 11 Sept. 1702 vanwege de Kamer Rotterdam te Batavia, repatrieert Nov. 1702 met de retourvloot en komt opnieuw in 1705 te Batavia.
