Notes about Martha Estelle HUCKEBA

Mrs. Martha Estelle Huckeba Terrell, 78, of Buchanan passed away Friday, Nov. 27, 2009.

Mrs. Terrell was born in Carroll County on Aug. 23, 1931. She was a retired seamtress.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ezra C. Terrell; two daughters, Diane Nixon and Deborah Fugate; sisters, Ruth Norton, Esteen Robinson and Jeanette Buchanan.

Survivors include one daughter, Michelle Chandler of Tallapoosa; one son, Donald Terrell of Bremen; nine grandchildren, Faith Barkley of Villa Rica, Hope Flanagan of Gainesville, Lynn Nixon of Temple, Leigh Nixon of Temple, Chris Fugate of Buchanan, April Chandler of Tallapoosa, John Chandler Jr. of Tallapoosa, Billy Chandler of Tallapoosa and Michael Chandler of Tallapoosa; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 29, at Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Minister Bill Gray officiating. Interment followed in the Liberty Christian Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Coy Thornton, Doug Thornton, Johnny Flanagan, Tommy Barkley and Ronnie Terrell.
